Warped Tour 2009

My very first Warped Tour experience. Geez, I've never been one for the loss of word but damn this is hard to talk about. Here's some comments I sent to my friends of my experience. I think this is easier. And I've never done it on here before. I repeat some things. Sorry.

Here's a comment to my friend Chelsea

"yeah, my cousin kristen told me to bring in two water bottles. but we didn't really need them. when i got my tickets, i got them on a wednesday, so besides the no fees wednesdays, i also got a hot dog & soda with my tickets. but we didn't need much to drink all day. it POURED. we were soooooooo soaked by the time we left. we got to see a couple bands, we sat thru a skylight drive, deer in the headlights just to stay dry because they were under a pavilion. but we did stand in the rain for jet lag gemini just because my friend knew how much i loved them. i didnt get to meet anyone besides jac vanek. she was at her tent when i went to buy one of her bracelets. i didnt get many pictures because of the rain. which im bummed about because i wanted to take hundreds of pictures. and we didn't get to see like anyone we wanted to see because we left early. we were just so sick of being wet. and all the bands we wanted to see didnt come on until after 430 and we didnt want to wait. but all in all, it was fun for my first experience."

"yeah it was a lot of fun. the rain put a damper on it. i didnt get to see most of the bands i wanted to see because my friend and i got soaked!"

"yeah it rained the entire time we were there. we left early because we were that soaked. the rain started out at the bottom of my pants and went all the way up my leg up to the top of my pants."

"yeah there was a ton of people there even though it was pouring. you know you've gone crazy when you stand outside in the rain for a concert i bet someone will tell me. lol"

"no =( i could of met the white tie affair but i didnt really wanna stand in the rain waiting forever to meet them. i did get to meet jac vanek! she's amazing!"

"it just sucks because i would of loved to have met the white tie affair and 5 other bands! but that stupid dumb rain. im sick of this rain!"

Madison: I want a jac vanek bracelet so bad! What does yours say? I think I want the one that says legit

Emily(me): i got the dreamer one! it glows in the dark! and she collaborated with push play to make that bracelet! you should get one! she also has harry potter ones now too! i wanted to get one of those but i didnt want to spend all my money because i got that at the start of the day.

Madison: Haha yeah I think I'm just gonna order them offline. I gotta look at her selection again. I remember Chet bad one :-)

Emily: I just looked, she doesn't even have the harry potter ones up yet. I knew I should of gotten one there! Oh well, hopefully she'll get them up soon! I love my legit one!

Madison: I'm excited to get mine

Katie: i want the dreamer one too just because it glows in the dark and the gryffindor one because well, i love harry potter hahah. i had no money though so i couldn't get anything. :[

Emily: i was determined to get it yesterday! that was one of my main goals of the day! i kinda want the slytherin one!

I think you get the basic picture of how my day went. Got a little "fucking wet" (that's for Jet Lag Gemini). Ashley's probably the only one who would understand that. Oh yeah, I didnt tell anyone who came a-knocking at Krissy's window as soon as we got their. An ALASKAN MUNK! SERIOUSLY! CRAZY RIGHT? He wanted donations but we didnt give him any. And I dont feel bad about it.

I wish I Honor Rolled like it was my job!

Jonas. Brothers. Yep you guessed it, I went to another JB concert Saturday night! And I had an awesome time. Before I went to the show, I thought to myself, this is gonna be my last JB concert for a while, but I don't know if I can do it. Mainly I want to give up their concerts for the sake of my ears. I already know that I have some hearing damage but there's something about these boys that just make me coming back for more!

I decided to get tickets to the World Tour mostly because I've been dying to see their first opening act Honor Society for a year now. And before this tour, the only place you could see Honor Society was in LA. Plus I've been dying to do the Honor Roll live, at a Honor Society concert for a year. And I finally got to do it Saturday night. I just wish I had been able to "Honor Roll like it was my job" this weekend like some of my friends did this weekend. But today in the shower, I was Honor Rolling. =D Honor Society cruuuuuuuushed that show!

Okay, someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease tell me, WHAT WAS THE POINT OF HAVING THE WONDER GIRLS ON TOUR WHEN THEY ONLY SING ONE SONG?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! and what's their deal. They're 5 girls from Korea who are what, like 15, who think they're in the 70's. Now I have nothing against Korean people, I just have a problem with teen girls who think they're living in the 70's. And where were their wigs???? HUH??? I think having them on tour is pointless!

Jordin. Sparks. She is amazing! She killed it! Of course, thats from what I can tell. Soooooooooo much teen girl screaming that it sounded like Jordin was on helium. And that's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. A soulful black girl should not sound like that! It sounded like she went up 5 octaves. But other than that, Jordin was amazing as the last 2 times I've seen her.

Nick. Joe. Kevin. opened up the show with Paranoid. Don't worry, I won't give the whole set list away. Before they even started playing Paranoid, that's when I had to majorily plug my ears. Seriously, you don't have to scream until you pass out. Of course, I had Adri next to me, now her, I thought she was gonna black out. I think everyone should do a round-about stage! They really used that stage weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell! I loved everything they brought to the stage. Black Keys was soooo amazing! I looooooved looooooved loooooved that song! I loooooooved the stage for Much Better! Looooved Garbo, John Taylor, Ryan & Jack Lawless!!!! Looooved the strings, saxophones & trumpets! I looooooooved how they sang "Sweet Caroline"! Good boys, sing the Red Sox song when you're in Boston! Looooved Kevin's outfit for the beginning of Lovebug but I hate that I had to leave early during Lovebug and didn't see the end of the show.

But I don't really care that I left the show early because I got in line to meet HONOR SOCIETY! And I GOT TO TOUCH MICHAEL BRUNO!!!!!!!!! And autographs. I just wish I could of gotten pictures with them. And I wanted to get a picture with Kat & Janice but I didn't! =( Oh well, at least I was at the beginning at the line. It was so funny seeing everyone trying to cut the line.



For those of you who haven't seen it yet, you're gonna LOVE IT!!!!

Seriously...

Can guys be more of a dick??? Seriously, guys are ridiculous! Makes me want to become a Nun. Whats with them lately, every guy I hear of are being total douches. Is there any sweet ones left or did they all just decide to be a-holes for the rest of their lives.

Why haven't I blogged...

I haven't since MJ passed away. I don't know why I haven't. I haven't been really busy. But I've felt the need to blog for the past few days. Well my life hasn't been too exciting.

I just moved from the 3rd to 4th floor. Which didn't turn out too great. Since I moved up to the 4th, I decided to put this foam thingy on my bed under my seats to have it be more comfortable while I sleep. Comes to find out. I might be allergic to it. I don't really know if I am. But my mouth did become a little bit swollen. So the past week hasn't been fun. My mouth has been so sore! And thats not the best place to be sore. I mean, my foot can be sore and it doesn't really effect me too much, but when its the one body part where food goes into and is constantly moved during talking, yeah not the best place to be sore. And if you know me well enough, you know I don't like to be quiet for a long time. Plus I couldn't really eat ketchup or salt (well thats when I thought my mouth was just really chapped). I can live without salt but ketchup, thats not a task I can do too well. I live for ketchup, I put ketchup on most everything I eat. Well not everything, but more than you would think. But today, its almost healed. I just have a little bit of red around my mouth. I think it was a combination of being allergic to that foam and chapped lips. I can wait when I no longer look like an effing clown!!!

Soooo, on June 25th, I got to meet my favorite NASCAR driver Joey Logano! That boy is SO cute in person! I can't wait to upload the video from that day! Well that weekend he had two races in New Hampshire (Nationwide & Sprint Cup). I believe he came in 2nd at Nationwide but Sprint Cup, well if you read my facebook, HE WON THAT RACE! And I believe I helped him win it. I know I've said something like this before BUT i really do this time. At Lap something, Joey's front left wheel blew out so I thought that had been it. He was done. He was gonna finish 20 something. I was gonna switch the channel BUT I kept watching, hoping. Next thing I knew, Joey was in 3rd. THIRD!!! And it wasn't too many laps until the finish. SO I started praying. Full out praying. God please let (whoever was in 1st at the time) pit so Joey will be in 2nd. Whoever was in 1st pitted. Please God, let Ryan Newman have to pit. Ryan ran out of gas and had to go to pits. SO THIS MEANT JOEY WAS IN FIRST! Since it had been raining almost everyday for the past 2-3 weeks, I started praying for rain so they would have to call the race due to rain. PLEASE GOD, LET IT RAIN! NOT LIGHT RAIN, I WANT A DOWN POUR! I WANT AN OCEAN! JOEY NEEDS THIS MORE THAN ANY OTHER DRIVER! HE NEEDS HIS FIRST WIN! HE NEEDS A CONFIDENT BOOST! PLEASE LET IT RAIN! I've never really actually prayed before. But I knew this was the moment that I needed to. Joey didn't have the car to win it. So I ran to the window and prayed for 20 minutes. Did NOTHING else but pray. And you know what, it WORKED! JOEY WON! AND I HELPED!
