Tell me how you really feel

That's what my mom tells me what I tell her something I disliked in an email. Well today it was the 51st Grammys. Could that show have been anymore horrible. Thats 3+ hours of my life I will never get back. No host, only 2 out of the many performances were good and nobody who can actually sing won. Those lonely two performances I liked were Jennifer Hudson's and the Jonas Brothers with Stevie Wonder. And that's not just because I love the Jonas Brothers, they actually performed well. Who ever put this little show together put all the wrong people together except for JB & Wonder. The one award I was looking forward to all night, went to the wrong person. I know, I know, Jonas Brother fan talking, but seriously...Adele? She had one hit, ONE! How many cds did she sell anyway? How many arenas did she sell out? Don't get me wrong, I do like her single Chasing Pavements... but the Jonas Brothers' deserved that Grammy more than she did. And who the heck is this Robert Plant and what's her face anyway??? Never even heard of them and they got all of these awards! Thats boloney! Please, please, please I'm begging you, never ever let M.I.A into an award show when she's pregnant!!! Well that's all I'm going to say.

A blog I like to follow...

Lately I've been reading this blog at least every day. I had seen his pictures on the internet but I never really knew who he was. Well a couple months ago, I learned his name. ALEX EVANS.

Two weeks ago I found out that he had a blog. So I was curious and decided to look and see what he said to his readers. And since then I've gotten hooked on finding out what he has to say. He's a very smart boy. He's got a good head on his shoulders. And I agree with most things he says. I think his blog will inspire me to have more ideas of what to say on a daily basis.

NEW POST! FNF!

Okay, this post isn't going to make you listen to this band. I'm just wicked excited! My name is going to be in Friday Night Fever's album!!! I cannot wait for it to be released!!! MY NAME'S GOING TO BE IN THEIR CD!!! I want you to buy it but you don't have to. I'm not going to force you! But I'm just so fricken excited right now!!!

Cards shoulda won! Who's with me?

So I'm kind of unhappy about last night's Super Bowl. The Arizona Cardinals should of won! How more greedy can the Pittsburg Steelers be. They've already won enough, the Cards haven't won for 86 years! Of course, they should of not stopped the clock after the Cards final touch down. We know who the referees wanted to win. =p But whatever, it wasn't my team, so congrats to the Pittsburg Steelers.

Okay so I have a new favorite band. They're outta Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. They go by the names of Daniel, Stephen, Nathan, Steve and they make up the band called Eleven Past One.
(l-r: Steve, Stephen, Daniel and Nathan)

These guys found me back on December 10th (I sound like a loser for knowing the day, but I still have the message they sent me to check out their band on myspace.) Know you're thinking to yourself, Eleven Past One, where in the world did they came up with that? Well I got the story to tell ya.

"All about ElevenPastOne!! They are a Canadian band out of the small town of Bowmanville, Ontario, CANADA. Growing up music was a big part of each member’s life since they were little. They are all classically trained and pretty much know whats up! Starting off with Brothers Daniel Richter (vocals) and Stephen Richter (guitar) the boys would jam for fun and write songs of there own. Dan had been singing before he could talk while Stephen studied flamenco guitar under Professor Ruban Diaz. During high school at Bowmanville High School there was a locker fire in one of the halls. The whole school was evacuated. This is how Stephen Richter and Steve Patenaude (drums) came together. The two had been in the same class and had nothing to do due to the fire and so they went back to Steve's house where he had drums and guitars. Stephen, being a guitar player, grabbed the guitar and Steve, being a drummer, got on the drums and at that moment there was musical chemistry as they call it. The next week Steve went over to Stephens’s house met Dan and a band was formed. Dan finished university at UFT with a bachelors of music and next was the hunt for a bassist. After jamming with a few bass players finally the right one came across the band...a childhood friend of Stephen's...Nathan Meima. It was just the cherry on top of everything. After Nathan was introduced to the band, the band started writing music together, playing local shows and things really started to come together. The band was first known as "Daniel Richter Band" but wanted something catchier. One night the band heard that they were going on a tour across the states and needed a new band name. Each member of the band, for some reason, had been seeing the time 1:11 frequently which was very weird. The band came together to think of a name but couldn’t come up with one and then they looked at the clock. Can you guess what the time was? 1:11. After that they knew it was a sign...they would be named ElevenPastOne. Now the band is getting ready to take off for a tour starting mid Feb traveling from Miami all the way to California with band manager, Sean Haden. The band is excited and can not wait for the experience of a lifetime."

That was taken off from their myspace blog. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention, I'm the street leader of the New England Eleven Past One Street Team. Add it to your myspace. www.myspace.com/11past1newenglandst . And check out the bands' myspace at www.myspace.com/elevenpastonemusic . I've been chatting with two out of the four members for the past month (Stephen and Steve), and let me tell you, these guys are wicked down to earth. I have received a few comments from Daniel, but I don't know what's up with Nathan. But I bet he's as chill as the other three are. If you have your doubts of what I say, talk to them yourself because they love talking to their fans! Sadly they're not coming my way during their tour, but I hope to see them perform really soon! So please, please, please check these guys out and take a long listen to their music because I don't think you'll be disappointed. I sure am not!!!!!

December Summary

December was an okay month. Stressed out by finishing over due homework and getting finals completed. During finals week, my roommate and I had to move our room around (for the millionth time in the first semester). We might be getting a new roommate or two. Hopefully not two. I dont think we could possibly have four girls in that room. We wont know until we get back on the 11th. Coming home from vacation wasn't fun. First four days, I stayed at my gram's house. The next few days I stayed at my nana's. I haven't lived at home since Thanksgiving. This is all because New Hampshire had an ice storm on December 11th, 2008. 12 days my house was without power. Granted I only had to go without for 5 days. But I spent Christmas at my nana's. My family didnt even get to decorate our Christmas tree. I went thru only one death. Woo. =[

And thats my December in review. Not much happened.
